Casola 2010 - geografi del vuoto

Son passati oltre cinque anni da quando il Cin, all’anagrafe Francesco Dal Cin, se ne è andato.

Lo salutammo in uno stadio del rugby gremito di gente, di rugbisti di quattro generazioni, di speleologi di ogni parte d’Italia, di centinaia di amici.

Fu un rito laico e fuori dagli schemi tra canti, poesia, lacrime e bottiglie di vino per salutare un uomo libero, che ha lasciato un segno indelebile nel mondo del rugby e della speleologia, i grandi amori della sua vita.

Se il rugby gli deve pagine indimenticabili (ha accompagnato la lunga saga della Tarvisium dalla C alla A/1), la speleologia trevigiana riconosce in lui il padre-pioniere, sin dagli esordi di quasi 50 anni fa.

Con lui nasce il Gruppo Speleologico Trevigiano, poi Centro Italiano Soccorso Grotte, infine Gruppo Grotte Treviso, con la mitica sede che ha accolto, per quasi un ventennio, centinaia di speleologi italiani e non solo.

Casola 2010 is II^nd EuroSpeleo Image’In Film Festival!

In Casola Valsenio, during the international caver meeting, there’ll be the second «EuroSpeleo IMAGE'IN Film Festival". There will be an important contest for speleo videoclips (30”-180”), a good way for offering a “glance of caving” in social networks. There wil also be a “Photostory” contest.. Maximum five photos (20x30 cm) for telling a story, or showing a caving emotion. And much more.. open video & photo exhibition, meeting with the authors. International jury and interesting prizes. Be ready for the contest!

Casola 2010 –Geographers of the Emptyness – is Euro Speleo Project FSE

The Speleological federation of Europe (FSE) has given to Casola 2010 the rule of international event, as it will involves Speleologies of many countries. Beside this, Casola 2010 is coherent vith FSE purposes.
FSE gathers National Socities and Federations of Europe, advantages comparisons, encourages common actions for knowledge and preservation of karstic features.
Casola 2010 will be a really big meeting of European and “from all over the world” cavers.
The second EuroSpeleo Image'In Film Festival is symbol of International vocation of Casola Valsenio, natural “landing” for many cavers.
People of Casola has always been friendly hospitable with cavers.
SSI, Italian Speleological Society, in the sixtieth of its constitution (2010) named Casola “Speleopolis – friend town of cavers”!
